Chicago Family Photo Session – The Louzensky Family!

This family session was one of those that really hit home for me. Last year, I started asking my new clients to complete a quick questionnaire that helps me to get to know the family. It also helps me to understand why they are choosing to do family photos. When I read this mom’s answers, I knew she and I would instantly connect. Her reasons for wanting to do photos were exactly in line with WHY I do this for a living. She mentioned that they are just starting to get into the groove of their family life with a 1 and 3-year-old. Logan is a sweet, cuddly boy (clearly from the photos, this is true!). She also mentioned that Layla is spunky, inquisitive, and loves taking photos (also clearly true!).

I also loved hearing about their love story. They have been together for 17 years, and their adoration for each other was evident from the get go. Finally, she expressed how much she wants these photos to document their family unit, the love they have for each other, and the little kiddo’s giggles.

This session was good for the soul. I feel so lucky to have been chosen to document these moments for them. ♥️
